Hematology Department 4 (for Adult Lymphoma) is led by Professor Xiaoyan KE, a famous lymphoma specialist in China. Under her leadership, Hematology Department 4 takes the initiative in carrying out second-generation gene sequencing of lymphomas in China and combining gene mutations with clinical indicators in patients to make a more accurate judgment on the prognosis in patients and instruct them how to treat lymphomas and select targeted drugs.

As a new method for tumor treatment, cellular immunotherapy is being gradually recognized in the field of lymphoma treatment. Hematology Department 4 proactively explores the use of such method to carry out multiple related clinical studies, and combine transplantation with cellular immunotherapy to prevent recurrence. It has made some progress in research involving the control of minute residual disease after remission following chemotherapy, and the prevention and treatment of special infection following transplantation, thereby bringing hope for treatment for patients with a relapse or refractory disease.
