He graduated from Tongji Medical University with a bachelor's degree in 1986. He graduated from Tongji Medical University with a master's degree in pediatric hematology in 1989. He graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1993 with a doctorate in hematology. 1999-2001 He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Universität Ulm Department of Transfusion Medicine, University of Ulm, Germany. From 2002 to 2006, he was a researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Institute of Cardiovascular Research, University Hospital Dresden, Germany. In 2011, he was sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau to study the quantitative diagnosis of ADV and its application in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
